1916 18th November broke loose from mooring at Newhaven during gale and driven onto beach at McKelvie Parade approx 1mile away. Later refloated.

1920 T H Scales  Leith
1920 10th December towed 3 masted Dutch schooner " Verona " to Granton. Schooner was found abandoned 60 miles ESE from Dunbar. Schooner had sailed from Leith 0n 23rd November with a cargo of coal bound for Drammen Norway. Vessel was found to have lost her rudder. It is presumed that the rudder was damaged during a severe storm the previous week.
1922 24th March rescued crew of S.T. " Standard " which had foundered 60 miles east of May Island. Crew of nine took to the small boat all landed safely in Leith.
